Evidence Presented and ignored

City Planning Commission Files here

On June 11, 2020, The City Planning Commission decided to support the construction of Domas Development's Solaris Apts., a public housing project whose estimated per unit taxpayer funded construction cost before inflation was estimated to be $575,000.  Originally, the city had misidentified the environmental flood zone in order to allow the building to be qualified for density increases - which it was not environmentally qualified to do. The city played slight of hand to have the original application withdrawn,  categorized as an infill project, the used information related another lot to justify it being approved by the planning commission, which it was not qualified to do.   Files related to the exhibits provided by the City were found here

Just in case, I made a PDF of the complete file that the  City Planning Commissioners used as evidence to support what in essence is an environmentally dangerous project, with city workers using fraud in order to override federal environmental protections that protect local people from environmental exploitation. 


Listen to the meeting, so you can decide if these people seem trustworthy to you. 


 Both Solaris and C3 Subdivision claimed they qualified for CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) exemptions – with City Planning employees utilizing their positions to override local environmental protections by committing fraud on behalf of developers. With proof of how dirty things are/were at this level of city government, I felt bound by my relationship with Jesus Christ and as a former government employee, to speak up while speaking up is still allowed in this country. 


My writings represent a portion of the work that has taken me hundreds of hours and numerous drafts to complete. It doesn't include correspondence involving the issue with C3 subdivision, which is drama until itself.  I wanted to do my part to fight for free speech as long as it exists. We as a people have a right to remain free of retribution should we complain about evils happening under our noses. That is the most important right we have, and the biggest protection and insurance we have from the evils that have been committed by those who we have entrusted with positions of trust and power.
